What is the recruiting process at Convergent Technologies ?
The Recruitment process consists of a series of Tests followed by interviews. The tests consist of Aptitude/Quantitative tests for all positions and Technical Tests related to the functional area.

To give an example, a person applying for a Development position in C++ would need to sit for Aptitude/Quantitative Tests, followed by C++ Test.

Based on the performance in the tests, candidates shall be called for interviews. The candidate shall be selected based on the outcome of the interviews.

What are the qualities that you would be looking at when you evaluate me?
All CTzens are required to have a good understanding of software engineering.

When will I get to know whether I have been short-listed or not once I have submitted my CV?
If you are short-listed you shall be contacted for tests thru email and phone call within 2-3 weeks from the date of submission of CV.

Do outstation candidates have to come to Gurgaon for the tests?
While we mostly ask candidates to come to Gurgaon office for interviews, we might go to various locations and take interviews. In either case, we would intimate you by email.

I am new to Gurgaon. How do I reach your office?
From Mehrauli Gurgaon Road and Delhi-Jaipur highway, take the road straight  towards Jaipur.. Once you cross Signature Towers and IBM (on your left) and 32nd Milestone (on your right), you will reach Jharsa Chowk. At Jharsa Chowk, take a U-turn on the National Highway, drive for 150-200 mts. and take first left towards Sector 15/Old Judicial Complex. 500 mts from the road is Judicial Complex. Ananya Towers in on the left of MDLR Building.

Would Convergent Technologies interested in running a internship program with my Institute?
Convergent Technologies runs an Internship Program called Practice School II for final year students from BITS Pilani, India from time to time. Apart from that, we will not be offering an internship program for any Institute in 2005-06.

Do you have any part-time/freelance positions available?
Convergent Technologies does not offer any opening for part-time/freelance positions.
